Corn Gluten Meal (usually referred to as CGM) is a by-product of processed corn (maize). It has been used as animal feed for a long period of time.
Corn Gluten Meal is a protein-rich feed, containing about 60% minimum of crude protein. It is used as a source of protein, energy and natural pigments for livestock species such as fish. It is also valued in pet food for its high protein digestibility and amino acid cysteine and is usually mixed with Lysine for a more balanced outcome.
